  This Silver bird box has some of the best detail on the silver work of any we've seen from Griesbaum. This early and original movement bird box has been carefully restored to original singing and playing condition. The original bird body was not repairable (but will be included with sale) so we carefully selected a bird that had the colors of the original damaged bird. Original key included. This early 1900s piece is stamped clearly on the movement with serial 759 -- the mid-1900s boxes stopped using serial numbers.
